Fee for Service Listings are growing in market share annually because they cater to consumer demands. No longer are consumers bound to 6% (they never were but they were hard pressed to find a broker would would take less than 6%). Consumers have choices today. They can pay a broker a low flat fee for mls listing services and pay about half of the typical sale commission when the property sells. So 6% typically becomes 2%-3% plus the small fee listed below.
